RAPID CITY, S.D. – January 21 – Work on Omaha Street this week includes general cleanup, seeding and stabilization, and permanent signing.
All lanes will be open by the end of this week and work will be suspended until spring.
The southbound outside lane on Deadwood Avenue, between Cement Plant Road and Krebs Drive remains closed for sidewalk and retaining wall work.
Business access on Omaha Street remains open at all times. Motorists are asked to be aware of suddenly slowing and merging traffic, changing work zone locations, reduced speeds through the work zone, and construction workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lane.
